Panasonic ES2207P Ladies Electric – The Battery Life
The Panasonic ES2207P has a rechargeable battery that comes in handy for people who hate the idea of changing traditional batteries out after each shave. The recharge on this device will be good for a few shaves at a time, but, remember, that a full battery will help the blades spin fastest, which is best for getting a uniform shave. While you can go without recharging between shaves, it is best to charge this device up after each shaving session.
The device comes with a lithium-ion battery, and the charging pack is included with your purchase. The charging pack is slim and can be added to any outlet. The razor rests atop it, so placing it on the top outlet is probably your best bet for space-saving needs. You can leave the device in its cradle throughout the evening.
Panasonic ES2207P – Shaver Settings
The Panasonic ES22007P has several different settings. Because it is a wet/dry shaver, you can use it on dry skin or wet skin. If you plan on using it on wet skin you should use it in the shower or bath, rather than on skin that has been somewhat dried. Simply damp skin will lead to skipping of the razor and you won’t get a clean shave. If you are going to use your razor on dry skin, use it on skin that has been completely and thoroughly dried, such as after you’ve dried off after a shower. Sweat can also create the “skipping” action, so it is best to use it on skin that is clean and dry if that is your preferred
The clipper setting should be used to trim down hair before attempting to use the foil setting. The clipper setting is simply a trimmer that will cut the hair to about 1/8 of an inch long. This is the perfect length for just a trim, or to get the hair short enough to cut down to the skin line. The foil setting promises a close shave, and while it will get the hair right down to the skin line, it isn’t going to be a smooth, manual razor shave. It is close, but not perfectly smooth. If you are looking for a perfectly smooth shave, you are best off with a traditional razor, as electric razors rarely offer the silky smooth feel that a manual razor can get. The close, but not skin, shave of the razor is, however, perfect for people with sensitive skin. It will help avoid razor bumps and ingrown hairs, as it doesn’t cut the hair below the skin level.
Panasonic ES2207P – Additional Shaving Features
The Panasonic ES2207P is equipped with a floating blade system that hugs the curves of the body to ensure a uniform, non-irritating shave every time. The floating system is perfect for shaving the legs, underarms or the face, depending on your unique needs.
The razor is also completely submersible, so it is safe to use in the bath or the shower and can be cleaned under running water. This is an especially nice feature for those who like to shave while in the shower as a time-saver.
The blades are stainless steel and nickel-free. The nickel-free blades are hypo-allergenic and designed to meet the needs of extra-sensitive skin. The foils and clippers are also replaceable, so you won’t need to simply throw away the unit when the foils appear to work at half their capacity.
Panasonic ES2207P – The Bottom Line
This is a nice razor in its price range. It should do the job you are looking for, and it is specifically designed for those with more sensitive skin. The floating system, its rechargeable nature, and the fact that it comes equipped with both clippers and foil make it a great, all-around razor. It can be used on all body parts with equal success, and it offers a comfortable, uniform shave every time. Its only true con is that it can pull the hair a bit if it is not fully charged and the hair has not been clipped down prior to using the foils. This little problem, however, is completely avoidable.
